For Driving Schools

Hi there! I am a Girl Scout Ambassador working toward my Gold Award with a focus on organ and tissue donation awareness for new drivers. 

 

Did you know that just one donor can save up to 8 lives and improve the lives of up to 75 people? When I found this out, I was shocked. I have a personal connection to organ donation: My cousin has had three organ transplants, and I would like others to have the same opportunities as she did. 

 

I am doing this by dispelling myths about organ and tissue donation and encouraging new drivers, specifically teens, to consider registering as organ donors. My plan includes a social media campaign on TikTok, @everyorgancounts, a website, www.everyorgancounts.com, and educational materials distributed to driving schools and public-school driver's education programs.
